Santa Cruz is a family summer destination. We have fond memories of the boardwalk, the Seaside Apartments we rent and of course the beach. I usually paint in the privacy of my home, but, this one was created with onlooking beach goers, kids making sand castles. I used a cork canvas, acrylic and actual sand to add to texture to the mixed media inception.
